Our client is the leading international online supplier of lamps and luminaires in Europe. Altogether, the company has seventeen online shops in many European countries. The company is growing continuously. This is why the company would like to add extra expertise to the French team with an Online Marketing Manager (m/f/d) focused on SEO and content creation.

Description and responsibilities

  • Strategic development of the marketing and sales growth areas for our client's French shop
  • Daily checking of the webshop regarding possible bugs and optimization potentials
  • Developing our visibility through the use of various traffic tools (SEA, SEO)
  • Analysing the website's performance (Google Analytics, Search Console) to improve the conversion rate and other key KPIs
  • Reporting of key KPIs including definition and follow-up of possible optimization actions
  • Managing all country-specific marketing costs
  • Preparing market and competition analyses
  • Strategic and operative search engine optimization (on-page and off-page) in cooperation with SEO teams
  • Observing the latest SEO/SEA trends & best practices and implementing them in your work
  • Creating content, developing, and optimization based on keyword research and in collaboration with SEO and content teams
  • Supporting other teams (Social Media, SEA, Marketplace) to optimize campaigns
  • Ongoing cooperation management incl. communication with partners, budget control, voucher code creation and planning of new webshop banners

Your profile

  • A few years of professional experience in operational and strategic B2C e-commerce marketing
  • Professional experience in the use of common SEO tools. You can use these in a goal-oriented way (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ...)
  • HTML and Webshop Backend knowledge. Ideally CSS and JavaScript knowledge. Work experience in an e-commerce company in France
  • Being experienced in Home Interior products is a big advantage.
  • Excellent French
  • Fluent English
  • Spanish or Italian is an advantage
