Our client is a worldwide popular car manufacturer and its Customer Service Center is the central point of contact in Europe, caring for the needs of current and prospective customers. Their value prepositions are fascination, perfection, responsibility and quality. Our client is currently seeking to hire a Warranty Claim Assessor-Japanese(m/f/d) in Maastricht.

Description and responsibilities

  • Checking complex and high-value warranty and goodwill claims if they meet the current regulations
  • Making fair and independent decisions
  • Managing warranty and goodwill claims and costs
  • Providing transparent reasons for decisions via chat to the Retailer
  • Communicating, when necessary, with different countries to align decisions
  • Communicating, when necessary, with the Technical Department to gain clarification of engineering details
  • Operating master data corrections and chargebacks concerning audit results

Your profile

  • Fluent English
  • Excellent Japanese (C2)
  • Several years of experience in warranty and goodwill processes
  • Educational background as passenger car and/or VAN mechanic and/ or service advisor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Preferably affinity with the car trade, technology and/or electronic equipment
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems over the phone with involved partners
  • Ability to understand the relationship between internal and external processes and how tools and support systems interact
  • Good knowledge of MS Windows Office
