Our client is a market leader in Industrial Precision Solutions and Advanced Technology. The company's Industrial Coating Systems division is a leading provider of integrated industrial-process control systems.

The company is looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as a Field Service Engineer - Application Specialist (m/f/d) who will provide technical support and technical service for their customers in Germany, Benelux, and Switzerland.

Description and responsibilities

Providing technical support and service to customers, ensuring their satisfaction with Nordson equipment through your service excellence and application knowledge.
Delivering training to engineers, maintenance staff, and operators, enhancing their skills and understanding of Nordson products.
Collaborating with Key Account Managers to drive sales of standard equipment and components.
Supporting our client's Industrial Coating Systems-installed base within your territory by servicing and maintaining equipment, conducting audits, and assisting with application tuning and spare part recommendations.
Building strong customer relationships through personal engagement and efficiently planning your activities and travel routes with the help of the internal CRM system.
Ensuring a swift response in emergencies and participating in the startup and commissioning of new systems.
Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, including visits, advised actions, and follow-up steps.
Leading lab tests to validate product efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the continuous improvement of our offerings.

Your profile

Technical degree in the field of Electronics or as an Electrician (university degree, apprenticeship, bachelor professional, technician, or similar)
Mechanical, pneumatics, electrical (basic PLC / Industrial Controls), and electronic knowledge and skills to perform needed service and instruct others on maintaining the equipment
Experience in spray equipment is an advantage
Customer-oriented
Team player for a multinational engineering team
Fluent in English and German
Willingness to travel 80% (independent schedule, typically 1 – 4-day trips predominantly within Germany, Switzerland and Benelux)
Valid driver’s license
