Our client is a prominent industry leader in compounding and extrusion, feeding and weighing, and bulk material handling, with a strong global presence and entities in multiple locations worldwide. We are currently seeking a Technical After Sales Specialist (m/f/d) to join our client's spare parts & service department team in Niel. 

Description and responsibilities

As a Technical After-Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing top-notch technical support and assistance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling BeNeLux customer requests for service & spare parts, together with colleagues from Belgium and other sites.
  • Utilizing your strong technical knowledge to assist customers with inquiries, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Collaborating with our technical team to provide comprehensive after-sales support.
  • Offering expert guidance on technical product features, functions, and usage.
  • Engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat to address their technical concerns and inquiries.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of quotations regarding the chosen equipment, pricing, and commercial terms
  • Reviewing contracts for acceptance and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Following up larger quotations.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of our client's products and services.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a mechanical service-oriented company is considered an advantage.
  • Legal knowledge regarding T&C is considered an advantage.
  • Team player attitude and good communication skills.
  • Results-focused, efficient, and flexible personality.
