They are looking for a Sales Manager Digitalization (m/f/d) for the DACH market in either Berlin OR Munich.

Description and responsibilities

As a consulting-orientated Sales Manager (m/f/d) with solid experience in IT services or SaaS sales, you will be responsible for presenting best-of-branch solutions to the market and winning new customers in the long term. You already work in an environment characterized by e-commerce, consultancy, and new technologies and have a strong network that you are continuously expanding. With our client's bespoke or customized solutions, you are in a position to offer customers real added value.

Your core tasks:
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and channels for potential clients in Germany and being significantly responsible for successfully closing deals
  • Being the owner of the entire customer journey - from the first contact to the closing of the contract and beyond that, being a competent contact person for the customers at all times
  • Maintaining independently your sales pipeline and ensuring that it is correctly mapped in our CRM tool as different stakeholders are involved in the sales process
  • Developing a feeling for customer and market needs and identifying existing as well as new opportunities through continuous research
  • Being able to introduce the services portfolio to potential clients and close new partnerships through your open and convincing manner
  • Working in direct contact with different teams on the preparation and implementation of outbound campaigns
  • In the preparation of events, assisting in the acquisition of participants, and also taking part in them on-site in order to establish contacts and expand your network
  • Working at the interface between internal teams and external clients, adding real value to them through your experience

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in successful outbound lead generation and building sustainable customer relationships, ideally in the IT environment
  • Experience in e-commerce, consultancy, PIM or CMS sales would be an absolute plus
  • Not only enjoying closing deals but also wanting to provide customers with exactly the right solution
  • Excellent communication and listenings skills, having a good feeling for possible challenges of your potential customers
  • Being organised, structured and being able to set priorities correctly and never losing sight of the big picture
  • Team player
  • Goal-oriented and proactive
  • Thinking outside the box when it comes to finding new and creative ways to convince the customer of our client's service portfolio
  • Being familiar with long-term sales cycles
  • Going the extra mile and looking for the best solution for your customers in constant coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Keeping up to date with new trends, technologies and markets
  • Being no stranger to social selling - whether LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook or Instagram
