Our client is a German development center with implementation of innovative technologies for the medical device market. They focus on the development of endoscopes based on future-oriented CMOS camera technology. We are looking for an FPGA Developer (m/f/d) who is innovative and wants to work in an international environment.

Description and responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing FPGA modules of high-performance image processing chains, algorithm modules and High-Speed interfaces
  • Connecting industrial interfaces to FPGAs (PCIe, HDMI, DP, V-by-one, MIPI)
  • Implementing image processing algorithms in VHDL
  • Making drafts of verification components and development of Design flows
  • Programming hardware-related software in C and Python
  • Active participation in the design and optimization of the development process

Your profile

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or computer science
  • In-depth knowledge of FPGA design, verification and VHDL development
  • Previous knowledge in the field of digital image processing, embedded systems are preferred
  • Other programming languages (C, C ++, Python, Perl, Tcl or Verilog) are an advantage
  • Knowledge of Linux is preferred
  • Safe handling of diagnostic tools from the electronics (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, chipscope) is seen as an advantage
  • Desire and capability to get familiar with new task areas, and ability to deal with unconventional and innovative approaches to solutions
  • Very good technical English language skills, German is an advantage
