We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst (m/f/d) for our client's global procurement business center. Use the chance to become a part of an excellence center of a well-known international company.

Description and responsibilities

  • Helping the company to reduce unnecessary costs in the area of procurement
  • Analysing procurement data, gathering and analysing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and synthesizing and communicating findings
  • Active searching for trends in relevant supply markets, creating price benchmarks, working on suppliers profiles
  • Influencing the vendor selection process to help ensuring best price
  • Seeking new information sources which provide information on industry structure, supplier landscape, and competitor actions for supply markets
  • Updating charts to reflect historical trends for key commodities per defined cadence; makes the information available to relevant BU leaders and stakeholders

Your profile

  • 2+ years of Financial Analyst experience
  • Fluency in English, written and verbally
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and other data analyses tools and technologies (e.g. MS Access, Power BI, Spotfire)
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
