Our client is a well-known company in the design, manufacture, worldwide sales and marketing of innovative noninvasive monitoring solutions. The key to their success is a motivated workforce that offer innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes and minimize the cost of care. Because of the patient's well-being and safety, they have started a project that should help to connect all the monitoring medical devices on one screen, which will help to get relevant and important information about the patient on time.

Description and responsibilities

As the Clinical Specialist (m/f/d) for the UK you will be responsible for a special connectivity clinical project. You will be seen as an expert in the clinical impact of various patient monitoring solutions and your main task is to educate and support the customers of our client on the company's products and solutions.

  • Presenting connectivity clinical monitoring devices within UK hospitals and clinics
  • Training new and potential users like doctors or nurses
  • Keeping abreast of and seek out new information and clinical papers related to the market our client serves
  • Planning and executing on overall key accounts sales programs with the sales team and local distributors
  • Positioning the company as a new standard for connectivity; participating in programs to build and maintain end-user awareness (e.g., trade show, regional symposium, competitive analysis, etc.)
  • Interfacing with Distribution Manager to maintain mutual understanding of product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate products, position products vs. competitive products, training of existing partner sales force and in service end-users

Your profile

  • Bachelor's Degree (Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse or other medical/ clinical disciplines)
  • Medical Device Clinical Support experience (ideally patient monitoring systems)
  • 2-3 years direct critical care, NICU, PICU, O.R. and emergency medical systems (EMS) experience (ideally neo-natal and pediatrics)
  • IT experience with connectivity of medical devices, data integration and monitoring system solution
  • Near-native English level, written and verbally
  • Experience in customer interactions, training and presentations
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout your territory approx. 40% of your working time
  • Advanced software, presentation and project management skills
