Our client is a well-known company, operating in the design, manufacture, worldwide sales and marketing of innovative noninvasive monitoring solutions. The key to their success is a motivated workforce that offer innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes and minimize the cost of care. Because of the patient's well-being and safety, they have started a project that should help to connect all the monitoring medical devices on one screen, which will help to get relevant and important information about the patient on time.

Description and responsibilities

As the Clinical Specialist (m/f/d) for Germany you will be responsible for a special connectivity clinical project together with a team of 3 colleagues. You will be seen as an expert in the clinical impact of various patient monitoring solutions and your main task is to educate the customers of our client on their products and solutions.
  • Working with the field in developing research accounts and conduct and follow-up on clinical evaluations involving our client's technology
  • Training new and potential users like doctors or nurses
  • Keeping abreast of and seek out new information and clinical papers related to the market our client serves
  • Being part of a professional team and partnering with the efforts of others in the region to advance sales and market penetration of products and solutions
  • Planning and executing on overall key accounts sales programs, and coordinating of resources necessary to optimize strategies in close relationship with partners in your region of responsibility together with the sales team and local distributors
  • Positioning the company as a new standard for connectivity; participating in programs to build and maintain end-user awareness (e.g., trade show, regional symposium, competitive analysis, etc.)
  • Interfacing with Distribution Manager to maintain mutual understanding of product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate products, position products vs. competitive products, training of existing partner sales force and in service end-users

Your profile

  • 2-3 years direct critical care, NICU, PICU, O.R. and emergency medical systems (EMS) experience
  • 2 or more years of medical device clinical support experience (ideally patient monitoring systems)
  • Near-native German language skills, written and verbally
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with customer interactions, training and presentations
  • Ability to transfer knowledge and to give presentations in front of others
  • MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Willingness to travel throughout your territory approx. 30 - 40 % of your working time
  • Direct experience in educating/ training in competitive, strategy-intensive markets within hospital and/ or other healthcare markets
  • You already worked with OEM and distributors sales forces
  • Strong self-confidence
  • Ideally affinity for technical topics
