Our client is a well-known company operating in the design, manufacture, worldwide sales, and marketing of innovative noninvasive monitoring solutions. The key to their success is a modern competitive product and motivated workforce that offer innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes and minimize the cost of care. At the moment they are looking for a Clinical Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the area of London and the South of London as far as Southampton.

Description and responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of all company's products in the assigned territory
  • Planning and executing strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or the whole hospital) to the use of the products in a high-competitive market
  • Engaging in selling of accounts, including qualification, demonstration and closure of competitive and exclusive products, positioning our client’s technology as the new standard of care in pulse-oximetry and other noninvasive blood parameters’ monitoring systems
  • Conducting product demonstrations and negotiations both with physicians and hospital administrators (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers, etc.)
  • Partnering with appropriate Distributors and OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts
  • Providing information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements
  • Participating in hospital bid tenders
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge including the ability to demonstrate products, position products vs. competitive products and in service end-users
  • Providing regular sales forecasts to upper management
  • Managing expense budget for all required activities

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education
  • Proven track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals and the ability to communicate value-based solutions
  • Several years of Medical Device Sales experience; Patient Monitoring systems are highly advantageous
  • Experience calling on physicians and hospital administrators (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers)
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Comfortable in high visibility situations and strong self-confidence
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English with an exceptional ability to lead group presentations
  • Demonstrated self-starter; a "hands-on" individual who enjoys a challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with minimal support and direction
  • Accustomed to a heavy travel schedule
  • PC literate
  • Excellent project management skills
