A B2B start-up from Stuttgart that has developed a manufacturer-independent procurement platform for industrial metal parts. The company combines all steps from automatic quotation to order placement, implementation, logistics and invoicing of metal parts in a lean, digital process.
The company's digital platform acts as a link between customers and manufacturers. The advantages of digitalisation are used for this purpose and help to connect customers with manufacturers from the network. The company aims to become the one-stop supplier for metal parts in every respect through a simple, digital purchasing process.
Since 2017, their team of experts has demonstrated that their concept is well received by the market. Now our client wants to play a big part in making the entire metalworking industry digital - also in France. In order to grow the market, they are looking for a French-speaking and ambitious employee for their sales team as Business Development Representative (m/f/d).

Description and responsibilities

As “Business Development Representative - France” your main goal is to hunt customers on the French market to get their first order by creating stickiness and building trust. Meaning, you help to shape and execute our sales strategy on the French market and are dedicated to driving its profitable growth. This
includes the following tasks:
  • Performing outbound sales activities
  • Being comfortable in reaching out to prospects and turn them into customers
  • Being responsible for our client's customers from the sign-up to the 10th order by promoting an outstanding customer experience
  • Handing over the customer to the Customer Sales Manager within a smooth process
  • Challenging the status quo every day and executing multiple tasks simultaneously

Your profile

  • You worked in a fast paced environment or startup before
  • You have already worked on the french market (ideally in the sheet metal industry or in a similar one)
  • You worked in a similar job before and gained professional experience and extensive knowledge in
the field of Customer Care and Customer Acquisition
  • You know how to deal with different stakeholders and you have best-in-class communication skills
  • You have excellent French language skills and good English skills
  • You are a team player as well as a customer-centric and extrovert person
