Our client is a US-based pharmaceutical contract research and development company. For their site in Brussel, they are looking for a Microbiology Lab Technician (m/f/d).

Description and responsibilities

  • Analyzing samples according to the specifications in application
  • Ensuring the necessary documentation for traceability of each analysis: batch numbers, reagents, equipment used, calibration, and other similar tasks
  • Writing the appropriate reports
  • Registering the analysis certificates
  • Providing the reports and the associate raw-data for correction before approval
  • In the event of non-compliance, immediately informing the managers and applying the required procedure
  • Being responsible for the cleanliness of the workspace and lab
  • Verificating the laboratory equipment in terms of cleaning, documenting, maintaining and validating
  • Following safety instructions and use all equipment at your disposal to ensure safety for you and your colleagues
  • Writing purchase requests
  • Managing stocks, reagents and consumables
  • Managing qualification of equipment

Your profile

  • Good Command of scientific English (C1), understanding French is also needed
  • Bachelor with scientific orientation or equivalent by experience
  • Several years of experience in microbiology
  • An experience in a sterile production environment is an asset
  • Good Knowledge of Windows & MS Office
  • 2 Shifts Work (6-14/14-22)
